A young man was murdered in Begusarai. He had come to attend a wedding ceremony, during which criminals shot him dead. The incident took place in Mauji village of Bakhri police station area. There was panic in the area after the incident. There was a crowd of people nearby. Here, as soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. SI Harendra Kumar of Bakhri police station said that on Sunday midnight he had received information that a young man had been shot. When they reached the spot, they saw Jitendra Kumar lying in a bush on the roadside and a cloth was covered over him. The reasons for the murder are being investigated.
The family members are alleging this
The deceased youth has been identified as Jitendra Kumar, 32, resident of Nandkishore Chaudhary, resident of Sakarwasa village of Cheria Bariyarpur police station area. Family members say that Jitendra Kumar’s in-laws’ relatives shot him dead. Jitendra Kumar used to work as a security guard in a private company in Delhi. There was a cousin sister’s wedding in her in-laws’ side. He had reached Mauji village on March 9 for this wedding ceremony. Information about the murder of Jitendra Kumar was received around 1 o’clock on Sunday night.
Police started arguing on the phone
The family members also allege that the police tried to mislead us. For a long time he was not told the truth. Family members allege that the police of Bakhri police station started arguing with us on phone. After this it was told that Jitendra has been shot and he has been sent to the hospital. As soon as we reached Sadar Hospital, we found Jitendra Kumar dead. Jitendra’s wife and children are in Delhi only. The family members say that the police should investigate this matter seriously and arrest the killer.
